Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures pushed to 2018

It attracted the biggest reaction in the room at TEN’s 2017 Upfronts but Russell Coight’s All Aussie Adventures won’t be airing until 2018, according to a report today.

The Herald Sun notes star Glenn Robbins revealed at the 3AW Rumours Feast at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne on Friday that filming of the new episodes had begun, but that there was still plenty of work to do.

He said filming would continue through to the end of the year with the results set to air on TEN early next year.

Working Dog has been flat out with projects of late including Utopia and Have You Been Paying Attention?

TEN’s Chief Content Officer Beverly McGarvey previously told TV Tonight, “It’s visual comedy with a known and loved brand, and it’s something the whole family can watch, which is so important to us. There’s not much half hour comedy on commercial TV, especially something in early evening, that you can put your kids in front of.

“Working Dog are so consistently great and Glenn is such a talented performer. I think there is a gap for physical comedy. It was the thing that everybody laughed at during the Upfronts.”

TV Tonight
understands Robbins & crew have been filming for several months whenever they can get away quietly to shoot in between projects.
